Cantle Grant for the Arts
These grants are geared towards community-based art projects that serve Golden and Area A. Funds can be used to cover participant expenses, locally facilitated workshops, art supplies, equipment or other creative project ideas. This grant is funded by the interest earned on the Cantle Family Fund.

Eligibility Requirements
must serve Golden and Area A
must be related to the arts
applicant must be aged 12 or older
What arts can be supported?
Please reach out if youβre medium is not listed - weβre open to alternative projects!
Visual arts such graphic arts/design and painting
Music, such as individual instrumental skills or voice, with no limit in respect to type of instrument or genre
Photography
Printmaking
Pottery and sculpture
Theatre and film
Dance
Puppetry
Writing (fiction, non-fiction and poetry), any genre
Comedy

Mike and Mandy Cantle founded the Cantle Grant for the Arts, formerly Youth Arts Award, because they have a commitment to encouraging and supporting creativity in young people.
