β€œThe Foundation allows me to volunteer where I can make a difference to our community, while enabling my family and I to build a legacy. Both my grandfathers have a legacy in Golden through projects they helped build, like the Civic Centre, the Purcell apartments, the first ambulance in Golden, and the expanded wing of the Hospital to name a few. Our family now has created an endowment fund within the GDCF to allow us to continue our support for Golden and Area A far into the future.”
