Whitetooth Affordable Ski Program
The Whitetooth Affordable Ski Program (WASP) is for any youth interested in getting on the slopes! Thanks to the interest from Whitetooth Ski Society’s original endowment of $316,000, youth and families in Golden and Area A can be financially supported with their ski aspirations at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. We work with Golden and Area A elementary schools to bring grade 6, 7 and 8’s to the hill for lessons and learning.
We’re seeking additional elementary schools to join our program and additional committee members to build out this program!
Our WASP program currently has $12,633 available per year.

WASP was created in 2012 by the Whitetooth Ski Society as an endowment fund to support affordable family skiing, utilizing the proceeds from the sale of the ski society’s assets. This endowment fund works with the support of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Golden Kicking Horse Alpine Team, and Golden Community Resources Society.
